You are just the Carrier, the baby is Mine - Emma and Obi's Story

Hi beautiful people!

I am excited whenever I have the opportunity to watch, hear or read about God's Awesomeness!

Everyday, we get the opportunity to have a glimpse of just how GREAT God is - From the break of dawn, to the rising of the sun, to the clouds that fill up with rain that drops on the ground to produce a bountiful harvest and nurture life.

From the details of creation - the unique lines imprinted on the palms of every human being, to the beautiful crinkle that forms when you smile. From the numerous strands of hair on our head that differs in texture, strength, length and colour to the next person just as our DNA, as intricate, complex and detailed as it is, differs from the next.

God is great and there is NOTHING He cannot do.

Emma and Obi Anyadike
If you followed the Waiting and Loving It series, you would remember Emma and Obi who were one of the first couples we featured. You can read their story HERE.. What they might not have touched on at the time was the miracle of conception and birth of their first and only son at the time Noah.

Emma and Obi are now blessed with 2 very handsome sons and Emma recently shared her story of faith, belief (and moments of unbelief), hope and miracle of God's faithfulness. Please watch the video below, you would certainly be blessed:

Also, very recently, Emma and Obi dedicated their second son Zac at their church, the City Temple (Elim) in Swansea and they made this beautiful video to celebrate. It's a bit of a 'Music and Me' as well, as I would encourage you to please pay attention to the background song (words on screen). It's also one of Emma's favourite songs..

How beautiful indeed. I had tears in my eyes as I watched. May God continue to bless and keep Emma, Obi and their gorgeous boys in Jesus name.

My prayer for you is that if there is anything at all you are trusting and holding on to God for, He would do it for you. No matter what the facts and proof are pointing to. No matter what the doctors have said, no matter what society has said, no matter what precedent has been or history has proven, may God answer your prayers and grant you the desires of your heart as you trust in Him in Jesus name.

"For with God, nothing shall be impossible" - Luke 1:37

Lots of love xxxx

Celebrating/Dancing Part 2

Today, I am a very happy gurlll!! :-D *twirls*..
source

So much good news around, I can't but thank my Abba!

First, guess who won a blog give-away!! My first authentic direct one!!!! I hope you are dancing with me?

You see the first unofficial one I got was 'dashed' to me by the lovely HoneyDame during the Guess the Blogger series on Atilola's Blog.. I kept trying and failing so hard that the babe took pity on my plight and transferred her gift to me.. HD + Atilola, I shall never forget :-D 200 kisses to you! (I enjoyed the free credit soo much, you can't even imagine! haha)

Anyways, imagine my very pleasant surprise when I got a Twitter update from the mega lovely Ms J.S Bass that I was the winner of her very first blog giveaway (You can read all about it on her great blog HERE - Oh la la, the joy was palpable.. Hehe I did not even remember that I had entered because I usually can't 'enter' most giveaway thingies cause of anonymity and sturves (it usually requires liking on Facebook etc etc) and mehn it feels good to win something oh!

Thank you sooooooooooo much hun..God bless you muchos x 100

On another note, remember that my friend that I talked about HERE? The one to whom God brought a good man (just like that!) after she asked Him, and I talked about the 1-year testimony that I have seen God do in the lives of my friends.. Well ladies and gentlemen, the babe is planning a wedding! Yes! Abba Father has done it again and this time, I am extra amazed! Whoever says God is not good has not met Him! I am so excited! And I thank God very much for her and her boo! May God sustain them and give them the grace to keep growing in love and the knowledge of Him.

On another another note, I attended a 1-year testimony wedding recently! This one I saw with my eyes and my mouth is still opening in wonder at the greatness, goodness and faithfulness of God.. You see, by this time last year, this girl was still asking God "Daddy, when will it be? Please send me my husband, a man from you".. She had been trusting God for a while and the pressure had been mounting. Before we knew what was happening, this dude comes, proposes in about 4months and in less than a year they are married.. Her testimony is that he fits what she asked God for and you only need to spend time with them to know that they've got something special going on.. I thank GOD!

You see, I get excited and share these stories because I know people reading this who are thinking "Lord, when?" I don't know what it is you are waiting on God for but I encourage you  to hold on to Him, He never fails and when He shows up, His gift will make you forget the season of waiting. Like the bible says "When the Lord turned around the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dreamed..."

Your dream-like answer to prayers is just round the corner and it will happen in such a way that you will feel dazed by it all  :-)

PS Today I am FINALLY starting off the series I have said a number of times that I would be starting (Can you help me say "Praise the Lord!")

PPS So Valentine's Day is next week Friday, chale what's the plan? As for me, I don't plan on 'roasting' oh.. Ok Daddy, over to you! xxxx

Celebrating!!

It's been too long!

How's everyone doing? Hope you're getting ready for the Christmas holiday?! I know I am! One of the best parts of course is the two weeks off from work starting from 'close of business' tomorrow woohoo!!!

                                      source

By the way, I am taking invitations to barbeques, parties, get-togethers - anywhere 'small chops' is guaranteed will do!

I heard some fantastic news over the weekend that has me in a celebratory mood! So I have this friend of mine who I was going to blog about some months back but procrastination said no smh..

We recently met and had until recently been merely acquaintances.. This changed when one day we got talking and she shared with me her very difficult emotionally/love-deprived childhood.. My heart reached out to her as she told me what she had to go through and how she never felt like she belonged.

She also shared the desire she had in meeting a God-ly man to make a home with. She is a very sweet person and loves God too! After our chat, we encouraged each other on God's faithfulness and how He knows how to take care of His own.

I also shared with her what I refer to as the '1-year' testimony in terms of marriage as I have seen God do in the lives of so many people (especially from reading on boundless.com) and then I have seen it happen right before me in the lives of my friends.. This is when God brings a man/woman, you meet, date, fall in love, get engaged and in some cases get married within a year! I desired that kind of testimony for her...

Well.. we got chatting on Saturday and she had earlier told me about this young man in her church who had started becoming 'friendly'.. So I was just going to ask about an update when at the same time she said "Oh by the way, L and I are now official...."...

Yup, you feel my joy and excitement! :-) God is good! She said she remembered the stories I shared with her on the 1-year testimony

So yes, I look forward to a wedding within the year! lol

Then also, a couple I know who have been trusting in God for the fruit of the womb for a while recently had a baby girl!!

My heart is full of gratitude to this amazing God!

Ladies and gentlemen, there's reason to celebrate because GOD IS GOOD! And you're up next in Jesus name!

PS.. I will be starting a new long over-due series very soon! Yippeee.. so, yeah, stay tuned! :-D xxxx

In need of a Miracle?

Miracle: An event that appears inexplicable by the laws of nature and is held to be supernatural in origin r an act of God (www.freedictionary.com/miracle)

I don't know if you believe in miracles, but I DO! God does miracles. 'Big', 'small', 'medium'.. He does them.

Many people have tried to take the glory from Him by terming it a "coincidence", a "mistake that was not detected", "mis-diagnosis" etc But one thing I know is that it was God and only GOD!

(read my lips or watch me type) HE IS A MIRACLE-WORKING GOD!

God works on a day to day basis, it's either we fail to recognise it or sometimes very comfortable with the available physical resources or sometimes 'managing' the situation. But I tell you, God desires that you and I have life and have it in abundance (John 10:10). He is still working! You can go back to Him and ask Him for yours! Don't be satisfied with average, be hungry for more and let God in His awesomeness fill that hunger.

I want to share what happened to someone I know recently and I believe that it will touch somebody, encourage your faith in this mighty God and believe in Him for your miracle. God says in His word, All things are possible to all who believe (Mark 9:23)... Including that 'impossible' situation!

Let's call her Divine.
So Divine had been dealing with this protracted illness for so long. It had to do with her womb and there seemed to be no way out. She always fell ill and had multiple Doctor appointments. Eventually the Doctor said that in order to prevent her developing cancer, the only solution was to have a hysterectomy ie take out her (uterus) womb. Implication being that Divine will be unable to conceive naturally. Meanwhile, Divine is a young lady and not yet married.

It was a very difficult decision to make but in order for her to prevent something even more fatal, she had to consider having it done, hoping against hope for the best. Now, the date for this had been fixed. A day to this procedure, she raised a prayer request at her Home Cell Group, a simple prayer was said and everyone prayed that God will intervene (in fact most of the prayer point was that God make it successful, let there be no complications etc).

Well, we serve a God who does beyond our expectations, beyond what we can ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). The next day as she was being wheeled to the theatre, they did the routine pre-operation scan and to the Doctor's amazement, he saw nothing.. Yes, you read that right, NOTHING! He was very surprised to say the least. He exclaimed saying "this is not what we saw the last time!" and immediately, Divine said "God has done it!"... He asked her to repeat her statement and she said it "God has done it!".. He said well whatever you believe in, hold on to it! She got up and walked out of the hospital in floods of tears.. God just changed her life! And HE turned it around from something that would have changed her life in another terrible way to a miracle!

This happened about a fortnight ago in a very good British Hospital where things are checked meticulously and where they try to avoid having operations on the National Health Service (NHS) - so the Doctors must have been certain that they saw something that had to be removed. The Doctor saw one thing weeks before but GOD corrected it in His own wonderful way! We call Him" the Surgeon who operates without spilling blood!"... The Balm in Gilead, The Mighty Healer, The Jehovah Rapha, The One that has the FINAL say, the MIRACLE worker, the same God yesterday, today and forever!

I tell you, God works, the bible says that there is NOTHING impossible for Him to do, if HE could part the red sea to make a way for His children, your case is too small. If HE could bring out water from a rock, how difficult can your issue be? If HE could send down manna from heaven? What is it that you are asking for? If HE could raise Lazarus from the dead after 3 days! What situation is too hopeless for Him to sort out?

I can tell you countless experience of miracles from a personal point of view and even from others.. You can even read more in Aloted's account here and here

God is able to do ALL things, do you believe right now? Then hold on TIGHTLY to Him for that expectation

He'll do it again!

Hey,

Sometimes, you feel so down and so low, you just need an uplifting...

Sometimes everything seems to be falling apart all at once and you just wish someone would come and rescue you from it all..

Sometimes all hope seems to have gone, nowhere to turn, no one really seems to understand..

Sometimes it seems like the troubles don't want to go away and there really isn't any help in sight....

Sometimes you have prayed and praised and done all the "good" things, yet nothing seems to be happening...

Sometimes even your loved ones are no where to be found and even the one you hold dearest can't be there for you...

Sometimes you wish the smiles that others see are really true and not the deep cry that goes on inside...

Sometimes you just want to give it all up...

....I heard this song again recently and for some reason it spoke to me so so deeply...

"Just take a look at where you've been and where you are now.."
"Hasn't He always come through for you
"He'll do it again....."

I pray that for you, you will laugh again, you will dance again, you will have hope again, you will believe in yourself again, you will dust yourself up and try again.....

Honey, things will work out again; you definitely may not know how and you may not even know when but be assured He WILL do it again!

God bless xx

Allow Me To Introduce......

Hiya!!

I was just going through some of my group pages on facebook (yeah I do that :-) when I saw a link that led me to, and introduced me to this lovely lovely Nigerian singer... I can't believe I am just hearing about her and hearing the song.. I'm sure many people have already heard the song but it's new to me and I am sooo loving it..

Allow me to introduce (or re-introduce as the case may be) this beautiful, immensely talented, lively, spirited young lady, from the blessed country that is Nigeria in the coast of West Africa...*drum-roll please* JAHDIEL!

Like I said, I don't really know a lot about her, only what I see from her music videos (lame, I know) but she has such a likeable personality :-)... I would definitely look out for her and bring you more info if I get any.. (I know, I know and you are welcome :-)

I have only been opportuned to listen to 2 of this songstress/minister's songs and they are Heritage and Eloheeka. The former is my favourite of the two but I assure you that they are both worth a listen.... As usual, when I "discover" a new song, it goes on repeat on my laptop....((I play and play until I wear myself out with it, hehe)

Her voice is sonorous and the rhythm infectious... very easy to love.. If you liked "wellu wellu" from Sammie Okposo or "Woekilemo" by Asu Ekiye you would fall in love with Heritage. If your taste is more upbeat/soft rock a la RoofTop MCs then Eloheeka would be your thing.

I will try to upload the video (I need lessons!) but if not, listen to Heritage HERE and Eloheeka http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBy_rTJ5ac0

p.s Oh wow... My very first blog miracle!! I learnt how to put a video up and it's really as easy as ABC (Ignorance truly is a disease...:-)

God bless xx
