He's worthy! God's worthy! Almighty, Creator! Alpha, Omega! Beginning and the End!

All hail King Jesus! All Hail the One who was, who is and is to come! The Alpha and Omega!

Jesus is Alpha and Omega! The bible says in John 1:1 "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, and the word was God!".

Just as He is and knows the beginning of all things, My God is and knows the End of all things.

There's this song we sing in my church that begins with a chant
Call - Who has the FINAL say?
Response - JEHOVAH has the final say!

He is Omega! He has the final say, *simples*.. He brings and end to a matter.. He brought an end to the barrenness of Abraham and Sarah, He brought an end to the reproach of Jabez, He brought an end to the oppression of the Israelites in the hands of Pharoah!

My God is the Almighty Alpha and Omega! Let us praise His name together!

Alpha - Lift His Praise High!

My God is such a mighty, wonderful, glorious, beautiful God and His name is Alpha!

He is the beginning that made the beginning. He knows the beginning of all things and has been before beginning became!

My AWESOME God knows the beginning of every situation and therefore knows the reason behind all things.. He is indeed the Fountain of Knowledge.

He is from Everlasting to Everlasting that means that no one knows His beginning and no one will ever know His end. Almighty Creator of ALL things, YOU are too much!

WONDERFUL! - That's His name

"I neva see dis kain God before oh, wonder wonder, wonder wonder!" (What manner of God! Wonderful!)
"Ki l'oruko re, Iyanu iyanu, iyanu iyanu" (What is His name? wonder, wonder!)

The God that I serve is absolutely wonderful. WOW! FULL of WONDERS!
He has the ability to 'blow' you away! To take your wildest imagination and make it child's play! You think you can dream big?.. Dream the biggest and let my God surpass it - by farrrrr!

He's just too amazing and the works of His hands are amazing!

Other's try to imitate the works of His hands through magic but 'if it's not panadol, it's not the same as panadol' (My Nigerian readers will understand this saying lol).. Remember what happened to Pharoah's magicians when they tried to do their own 'abracadabra' after Moses' rod turned to a snake?
The Wonderful's One's wonderful snakes swallowed up their imitations...

Don't get it twisted, there's only ONE God and His name is.. (Shout it out loud!) WONDERFUL!!!

For my proof/testimony/experience today, I will just ask you to look inside and try to fathom the way your body works.. Wonderful! Look outside and see the ways bees produce honey and organise themselves. Wonderful! Look up and imagine the millions of stars, the sun and how it gives light to the earth, the way the earth spins on its own orbit! Please call His name.. WONDERFUL!!!!

Jehovah Rapha - The Lord my Healer, I PRAISE YOU!!

Today I continue giving the lover of my Soul the praise that He so deserves! Wonderful, mighty King of Kings.. Full of wonders He is!

So, one of the names my great God is called is Jehovah Rapha which means The Lord our Healer and true to it, my Lord makes that name! There is no sickness that you cannot heal oh Abba Father *wriggles in dance for my King*..

There is no illness or affliction known and unknown to man that God cannot heal. In the bible, we are told of so many miracles of healing that God did! Some are instant, some came after thanksgiving, many were performed by compassion... The fact is that God, my God is the Great Healer, the Mighty Physician!

Is there any sickness that has defied all medical interventions? Try Jesus! Have faith and believe in Him, I know His name, His name is Jehovah Rapha!!

So, this is my experience:

The first time I really knew that God was indeed a great miracle working Healer was when I was in Secondary School.. I believe I was in SS1 (Year 10, I think) and I had this HUGE boil under my armpit.. Of course no one could see it because it was hidden but I cannot explain the pain and discomfort it gave me. It had been there for a while.. All sorts had been done to no avail and it just kept growing bigger and more painful.

Now it was easy to bear it up in my long sleeve school uniform and still front like everything was ok but if you looked closely, you would notice that I couldn't raise my hand and I was very careful with the way I moved the affected hand.

Now in my Secondary School, we used to have a great basketball team and sometimes we hosted inter-school basketball games and it was like one of the highlights of school mehn.. While the boys played basketball, the girls loveddd to do the cheerleading bit! We would sing songs we got from American High School movies and do the clap sequences and sometimes the body movements - it was FUN!!

Howevere, there was a dilemma.. Basketball was tomorrow and boil was still hugely under my arms with no sign of shifting.... Before I went to bed that night, I knelt by my bed and I prayed with ALL my heart! (Trust me, the event the next day was a great motivation!).. As I prayed, I started to practice what we had learned in children's and then teen's church..

I didn't know when I started telling God of all that He had done! All the miracle stories we were taught started to come forth! (Now that I write, I marvel!).. As I continued to say "Are you not the one who parted the red sea?" "Are you not the one who sent down fire from heaven when Elijah prayed?".. Like that I went on and interestingly as I was narrating the works of His hand, I became excited  (Praise does that  to you) and I finished the prayer and went to bed..

When I woke up the next morning, my underarm was wet... The boil had bust (I don't recollect there being any sign whatsoever the previous day!).. I.WAS.AMAZED! Even I didn't know that it would work like that!!

Every time I remember that incident many years ago.. I KNOW THAT MY HEALER LIVETH!! And since then, He has continued to prove Himself again and again

There are countless testimonies of God's healing power and I even shared one HERE ...

Please help me PRAISE MY GREAT GOD! AWESOME JEHOVAH RAPHA - Odikwa too much!

September Praise Festival - My no 1 occupation!

Welcome to a brand new and beautiful month! I pray that it will be a month to remember for great things, for answered prayers, for grand testimonies, for wonderful achievements and for amazing stories. I am so excited about this month - Don't ask me why, I just am! I am very grateful to God for it and like the song goes "I gat a feeling that this month will be a good month, that the month will be a good good month!!" lol

Ok, so I learnt something over the weekend at an event I went for and it has inspired the theme of the blog for the month of September and I am extending the invitation to as many people as would like to join in!

So some of my friends and I were gisting (well I was doing more of the listening lol) and then the discussion geared towards weddings and vendors, particularly bands that come to play at weddings and their praise-singing.

Some of the guys among us started talking about their experiences of praise singers and how when the singers start calling your name and singing your praise it's almost like jazz as you don't know when you start spraying money that you have and you don't have. They were like "I used to think that it could never happen to me until one day they asked for my name and started calling it in different styles and praising me". 2 of them admitted that it got to their heads so much that they actually left the dance floor to look for the next available ATM (Cashpoint) to get more money!

They said there's a way it gets to your head that you can't control. One said that after one of such unplanned spending (haha), he was broke for 3 months! (lol)..

As we laughed and joked about it, something struck me and I was like "One, expo right there!". We are made in God's image! That's why when Solomon gave those burnt offerings, God was like ask me anything!!Same with Abraham and Isaac (that sacrificed provoked an everlasting covenant of blessings for Abraham) and not to forget my main guy David, God referred to Him as a man after His own heart and your guess is as good as mine on why he must have earned such a title - that man could thank, sing, dance, worship, praise!
In my mind I was like those praise singers do it for a living for human beings, let me do it for my God! Like start calling Him names, talking about His greatness. Imagine how God feels when we are celebrating Him, calling Him by His different names, telling Him of His wondrous works and just rejoicing in that!

The truth has been given to us time and time again. We need to use it! If human beings are willing to almost sell a kidney to spray praise singers, imagine how much blessings you provoke from God when you unashamedly and whole-heartedly praise HIM! And the most beautiful part is that God's names and praises are the truth and He is deserving of every praise we can offer and more!

So, ladies and gentlemen, this month I am doing a PRAISE-FESTIVAL! I want to make praise-singing/giving for my JESUS my no 1 profession and occupation!
